Traditional methods of consultation will often only get you so far.

Often, it is only those that are opposed to your proposal(s) that will bother to show up to a consultation event, or write you a letter.

In many cases there is another side to the story still to be uncovered; the views of a silent majority. Many of these will have their own ideas to contribute, but are unlikely to be engaged by traditional methods such as public meetings or feedback forms. Even if a person is inclined to participate, they simply may not have the time to do so.

So how can you reach these people and understand their views?

Put simply, the growth in internet usage and the popularity of social media such as Facebook and Twitter mean that online engagement can be an excellent way to do this.

Helping you engage with individuals

Through our Viewpoint suite, we can help you to engage with individuals that would otherwise be unreachable using traditional methods.

Depending on the consultation need, Viewpoint can incorporate Twitter, Facebook, online opinion surveys and feedback forms.
